Attempted Murder Defendant’s Sentencing Postponed

On Aug. 5, the sentencing of a 37-year-old defendant was postponed before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.

Ahmad Moulden, 37, was found guilty of attempted second-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person and discharging a firearm for his involvement in a July 10, 2022, incident on the 600 block of North Robertson Street.

Moulden’s attorney, Granville Templeton, requested Moulden be considered for a not criminally responsible plea given his mental health issues. However, the request was denied at the hearing by Judge Schiffer.

The sentencing has been rescheduled for Aug. 15.
