On Sept. 1, 2018, at approximately 10:13 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the unit block of North Catherine Street, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 25-year-old male and a 65-year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victims to area hospitals where the 65-year-old male was listed in critical condition. The 25-year-old male injuries were considered as non-life-threatening.
On Oct. 1, the victim, Howard Dorsey died at 70 years of age. The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office where the death was ruled as a homicide on Nov. 30.
