The Baltimore City Police Department arrested 47-year-old Joseph Moulden in relation to a shooting which occurred in the early morning of April 30.
According to a press release, at approximately 4:12 a.m. officers were flagged down and advised that a shooting victim was at a gas station at the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road.
Officers responded and found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. Moments later, a call for a shooting came from the 4100 block of W. Belvedere Avenue. Officers responded and upon arrival found a 37-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in his left arm.
Both victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers located a crime scene in the gas station lot.
Investigators believe Moulden shot both victims who were patrons at a gas station. Both victims were not Moulden’s intended targets. Investigators learned that Moulden had a dispute with an unidentified individual when he began randomly shooting. This resulted in the injuries suffered by the two victims and Moulden himself getting shot.
Moulden then fled the location and transported himself to an area hospital for treatment.
Detectives transported Joseph Moulden to Central Booking Intake Facility, on May 10, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
