The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening on May 12.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue around 8:04 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found a 35-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot to his right thigh.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The victim told police he was walking on Cliftview Avenue when he felt a burn in his leg and realized he had been shot.
