A 33-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 63-year-old man on Sept. 6.

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Gordon Staron, 33, a week after the incident on the 1400 block of E. Monument Street, where 63-year-old Keith Bell was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported by ambulance to John Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Through the course of their investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.

On September 8, Staron was arrested and formally charged with first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
