30-Year-Old Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge for April Shooting

Baltimore Northwest District detectives arrested a 30-year-old Baltimore resident May 10 in connection to the attempted murder of a man in April.

According to a press release, police were called to the 3000 block of Tioga Parkway around noon on April 17 for an alleged dispute. When police arrived, they found a 32-year-old man had been shot.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and later recovered.

Following witness interviews and examination of physical evidence, detectives identified Keith Johnson. Police said Johnson was taken to the Northwest District for an interview and then taken to central booking for charges of first-degree attempted murder.

Police said Johnson is waiting to see a court commissioner.
