Two women accused of attempted murder appeared pleaded guilty July 16 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill.

Bianca Medley-Palmer, 33, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit second-degree assault in association with the same incident. She was originally charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony violent crime, firearm use in a felony violent crime, second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, having a handgun in a vehicle, conspiracy to commit theft from $100 to $1,500 and attempted theft from $100 to $1,500.
Hansley, represented by Karyn Meriwether and Jerome Wilson, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, suspending all but 10 years, with five years of supervised probation for first-degree assault, and a concurrent five years without the possibility of parole for firearm use in a felony violent crime.
For a separate case regarding weapons charges, she was sentenced to a concurrent five years for illegal possession of a firearm. She will be required to register as a gun offender upon release.
Judge Fletcher-Hill said he would recommend that she serve a part of her time at the Patuxent Institution in Jessup, Md. to participate in the Patuxent Eligible Offender Program, an intensive rehabilitation program.
Medley-Palmer, represented by Jessica Rubin, was sentenced to 10 years, suspending all but time served, and two years of supervised probation for conspiracy to commit second-degree assault. Additionally, she must stay away from the victim and pay $1,100 in restitution.
According to documents from the District Court of Maryland, the victim stated that she was conversing on the phone when she observed her romantic partner — Medley-Palmer and Hansley’s co-defendant Dominick Graham — using phone location tracking to find her on the 3900 block of Fords Lane.
Shortly after, three suspects arrived in a vehicle later identified as belonging to Medley-Palmer. Graham allegedly pushed the victim and took her phone as she tried to call the police, and a second suspect punched the victim, hit her with a stick, threatened to stab her, then retrieved a handgun from the vehicle and shot the victim. Afterwards, the three fled the scene with the victim’s smartphone with the third suspect driving.
The victim later identified the second suspect as Hansley and the third individual who drove the vehicle as Medley-Palmer.
Graham is currently undergoing jury selection.
