A 19-year-old man was shot while walking along Jefferson and North Curley streets on Nov. 24.
Around 8:30 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were called to the 400 block of Linwood Avenue where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his ankle. Police said medics took the victim to a hospital, and he was listed in stable condition.
The victim later told police that he was walking along the 2900 block of Jefferson Street and the 400 block of North Curley Street when he heard gunfire. After feeling pain in his leg and realizing he had been shot, the victim said he ran to Linwood Avenue and called police.
