In reference to the shooting that occurred on Nov. 2, in the Northeast District, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested a 15-year-old male.
Investigators learned that the 15-year-old suspect was involved in a physical altercation with an unidentified male when the 47-year-old male victim attempted to intervene.
During the physical altercation, the suspect withdrew a firearm, discharged it and struck the 47-year-old male victim in the ankle on the 4300 block of Belair Road.
Northeast District detectives continued investigating this case, identifying the 15-year-old suspect and obtaining a warrant for his arrest.
On Nov. 6, detectives arrested the 15-year-old suspect and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged as an adult for attempted first-degree murder.
