The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening on May 31. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 5:25 p.m. when they were flagged down by the victim, a 16-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to the left forearm. 

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. 

The victim told officers he was inside a store at 1841 Pennsylvania when an unknown suspect shot his firearm from outside the store, through the window, striking him.

Central District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2411 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
