The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening on Feb. 8.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 3000 block of East Federal Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 16-year-old male teenager suffering from a gunshot to his abdomen.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he is being treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.
