Southern District shooting detectives of the Baltimore Police Department are investigating a non-fatal shooting of a woman on Oct. 23.
On Sunday, at approximately 3:21 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Charles Street to investigate reports of gunfire.
Officers responded and located a crime scene. Shortly after, officers responded to an area hospital and found a stable 26-year-old female being treated from multiple gunshot wounds.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot while in the unit block of W. Hamburg Street by an unidentified suspect.
