On June 1, at approximately 2: 40 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1800 block of North Mount Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 53-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to her right hand. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Western District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
