The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a homicide in the Southern District.
On Dec. 13, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Southern District officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Chesapeake Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident.
