The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.
On May 11, at approximately 10:41 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Mountwood Road to investigate the discharging of a firearm.
Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old female victim inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
