Wilmot Court Shooting Leaves 19-Year-Old Injured

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Central District.

On March 30, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Wilmot Court following a report of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers were informed by a citizen about gunshots heard inside a residence. Officers entered the residence and discovered evidence of a crime scene, but no individuals were present.

Shortly thereafter, officers were alerted to a shooting victim seeking medical attention in the 2200 block of North Monroe Street.

A 19-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to the arm and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary information indicated that the shooting occurred inside the residence on Wilmot Court.

Central District detectives are actively investigating the incident.
