Western District Shooting Investigation
On Aug.15 at approximately 3:26 p.m., Baltimore Police Department Western District Officers responded to 400 block of W. Lafayette Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert and a call of a reported shooting.
Once on scene, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to area hospitals, where he is listed in critical condition. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide Detectives responded to the scene.
