Western District Officers Respond to ShotSpotter Alert

On Nov. 26, at approximately 7:56 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 600 block of North Dukeland Street, when they were approached by an individual who led them to the 2000 block of Winchester Street.

Once there, officers observed a male victim lying in the road, suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital. The victim’s date of birth is unknown at this time.

Homicide detectives responded and are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2100.
