Western District Officers Report Shooting of Six, One Fatally on Edmondson Avenue

On March 23, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 15-year-old male, a 24-year-old male, a 21-year-old male, an 18-year-old male, a 22-year-old male and 33-year-old Ernest Hall all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victims to area hospitals, where the 24-year-old  male is listed in critical condition. The 15, 21, 18 and 22 year-old males are all listed in stable condition.

Hall was pronounced dead on the scene.
