Western District Investigating Non-Fatal Shooting

The Western District shooting detectives of the Baltimore Police Department are investigating a non-fatal shooting which occurred on Oct. 26.

On Wednesday, at approximately 3:13 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of W. Lexington Street for a shot spotter alert.

Once they arrived, officers located evidence of discharging but no shooting victim(s).

A short time later, a 27-year-old male walked into a local hospital seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left calf.

The victim told officers he had been shot on W. Lexington Street.
