Western District Detectives Seek Answers in Penrose Avenue Shooting Homicide

On April 25, at approximately 7:26 p.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2000 block of Penrose Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 29-year-old Anton Gladden suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right arm and head. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic. The victim was pronounced deceased by hospital staff a short time later.
