Western District Detectives Respond to Shooting, Stabbing Victims

On Sept. 24, at approximately 8:33 p.m., Western District officers responded to 1300 block of N. Carey Street for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment in serious condition. 

In addition to the shooting victim, two individuals walked into area hospitals suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. 

Preliminary information has revealed that all of the victims were injured in the same incident. Detectives believe that there may have been an altercation that started inside a residence. 

Multiple individuals have been detained on scene. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
