The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.
On Sept. 26, at approximately 4:16 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of W. North Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
