The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northwest District.
On Nov. 13, at approximately 2:15 p.m., officers responded to the rear alley of the 5300 block of Gist Avenue following a call for a well-being check.
Upon arrival, officers found a 57-year-old male victim with apparent trauma to his upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Homicide detectives have taken control of the investigation.
