Walk-In Shooting Victim Reported in Southwest District

On March 30, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Southwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his upper left arm.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 2200 block of Wilkins Avenue.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation. Detectives have learned that this shooting happened outside of Baltimore City.
