Walk-In Shooting Victim Reported in Central District

Central District shooting detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating the non-fatal shooting of a teen on Dec. 24.

On Saturday, at approximately 7:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Bolton Street to investigate a reports of gunfire in the area. 

When officers arrived at the location, they canvassed the area for potential victims, witnesses or suspects and observed evidence that a shooting occurred. 

A short time later, officers were notified that a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment had just arrived at an area hospital. Investigators went to the hospital and observed a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
