Victims Named in Mass Shooting at South Baltimore Home and Royal Farms Murder

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced updates in two homicide cases that occurred early December in South Baltimore.

Erika Power, 42, and Leroy Alexander, 56, were killed in a mass shooting that occurred Dec. 6, at a home on the 1800 block of McHenry Street. Alexander was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Power died later at an area hospital.

Two others, a 36-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries in the shooting and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Four days later, on Dec. 10, Daequan Parker, 26, was killed during a fatal shooting outside a Royal Farms gas station located on the 1500 block of Russell Street, just across from Horseshoe Casino.

A 22-year-old man was also reportedly injured in the shooting, and walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. He is currently listed in stable condition.
