Victim Stable After Northeast District Shooting

On Dec. 20, at approximately 8:05 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 54-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 5300 block of Ready Avenue by an unidentified male suspect. 

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.
