The Baltimore Police updated the public Aug. 6 about a homicide that took place on the 3900 block of W. Franklin Street two days before.
According to a press release, the victim of Wednesday’s fatal shooting was 43-year-old James Bennett III.
As of Friday, there have been 201 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
