Victim Hospitalized After Drive-By Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred on July 5. 

According to a press release, officers responded to the 2000 block of Edmondson Avenue at around 8:15 p.m. after receiving a call about a 31-year-old man being shot in the abdomen.

The victim said he was shot by an unknown suspect in a black SUV. After the shooting, the suspect continued driving eastbound on Edmondson Avenue.

The victim ran inside a store, and police were called. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
