On Nov. 12, at approximately 1:45 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 6100 block of Shipview Way to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old Steven Butler suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the scene, and despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
