Victim Dies Following Shooting on Elsrode Avenue

On May 5, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 6800 block of Elsrode Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old Isaiah Benjamin Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The BPD later reported that Benjamin died from his injuries on May 6.
