Victim Dead, Driver Being Treated in O’Donnell Street Car Crash

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal vehicle crash in the Southeast District.

On July, 12, at approximately 6:19 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 5200 block of O’Donnell Street for a report of a vehicle fire.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a vehicle had struck a utility pole and caught fire after the impact.

Citizens managed to pull the 48-year-old male driver from the vehicle and provided aid until medics arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Crash Team investigators are handling this case.
