A Baltimore man charged with manslaughter rejected a plea on Sept. 19 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Datuan Blanchard is charged with criminally negligent vehicular manslaughter in connection to an incident on July 15, 2020.
Blanchard, 23, and his defense attorney, Judit Otvos, rejected a plea of three years suspending all but one year with three years probation.
Blanchard’s trial is scheduled for March 14, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., and is expected to last four days with Judge Cynthia H. Jones presiding.
