Unresponsive Man Found on Eagle Street Suffering from Gunshot

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon on March 24. 

According to a news release, officers heard gunfire while patrolling the neighborhood in the 1800 block of Eagle Street around 1:17 p.m., where they found an unresponsive adult man suffering from a gunshot wound. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.

Investigators learned that officers apprehended a person of interest, armed with a handgun and observed fleeing the shooting location.
