The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening on April 28.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 4100 block of Elkader Avenue around 5:21 p.m. for a shooting, where they found an unknown woman suffering from a gunshot wound inside a parked vehicle.
Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. According to medics and officers on the scene, the victim’s condition would suggest that she had been deceased for a while.
Homicide detectives responded and have assumed control of the investigation.
