The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of Aug. 9.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 900 block of N. Caroline Street around 8:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where an unknown adult man was found suffering from a gunshot to his head.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
Due to the seriousness of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives were notified and have assumed control of the investigation.
