Woman Injured and 23-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition Following South Broadway Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting incident that occurred during the early morning hours of Sept. 28. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 700 block of S. Broadway at 1:05 a.m. for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 23-year-old Eligah Hooks suffering from a gunshot wound to his head and a 35-year-old woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her arm.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where Hooks has been listed in critical condition.

Detectives are working to pull video footage from the area in efforts to identify a suspect.
