On June 28, at approximately 6:43 p.m., officers were patrolling the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road when they were flagged down by an individual who stated that another individual was shot at the intersection of West Belvedere Avenue and Reisterstown Road.
Upon arriving at the intersection of West Belvedere Road and Reisterstown Road, officers observed a 47-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg and an unresponsive Tommie Anderson suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. Despite life-saving measures, Anderson, 20, was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary Investigation revealed that the victims were shot on the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
