The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early evening on April 16.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 5300 block of Maple Avenue around 5:23 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 29-year-old man unresponsive suffering from an apparent gunshot, and a second adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot.
The medics pronounced the 29-year-old male victim dead on the scene. While the second victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators were then advised of two more male victims who were at an area hospital suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Those victims were also shot in the 5300 block of Maple Avenue.
