Two Victims, Including a Pregnant Woman Found Shot on E. 23rd Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening on May 12. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 300 block of E. 23rd street around 8:13 p.m. for a shooting, where they found an unidentified adult man and a 38-year-old pregnant woman inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Both victims were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where the adult male victim was immediately pronounced deceased.  The female victim gave birth to the child and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The newborn child is in critical condition at this time.
