Homicide detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating the shooting of two men on the night of Jan. 20.
On Friday, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to discharging in the 500 block of Richwood Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old Dion Brandon suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. Brandon was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A second victim, a 22-year-old male, was found in the 4800 block of York Road and was suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen. He was transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition.
