Two Shootings, One Fatal Reported in Southeast District

The Southeast District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a murder of a 34-year-old male on Nov. 23.  

On Wednesday, at approximately 12:34 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the intersection of North Milton Avenue and McElderry Street block to investigate a reported shooting. 

Once at the location, officers located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the hip lying outside on the ground on the 2500 block of McElderry Street. The victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

A second victim, 43-year-old Travis Curry was located inside a dwelling on the 500 block of N. Rose Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Medics pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
