The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of July 23.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue around 9:33 p.m. for a shooting, where officers were able to locate the crime scene but no victim.
The victim, a 44-year-old male, had been taken to an area hospital by friend, with a gunshot wound to his neck while conscious and breathing.
A second victim, a 43-year-old male, walked into another area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. His injury appears to be non-life-threatening.
Eastern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2433 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
