Two Die in Greenmount Avenue Home Shooting

On Dec. 3, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Northern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Greenmount Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. 

Once at the location, officers located two 28-year-old male victims, Michael Saffold and Phillip Brown, in the hallway inside a house suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies. One of the males was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the other victim was pronounced deceased a short time later at the hospital. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims engaged in a verbal argument with an unidentified male suspect. The incident is believed to be domestic-related.
