Shooting defendant Michael Armstrong, 28, received a new trial date on Feb. 11 after defense attorney Augustine Okeke was absent due to illness.
Armstrong is on trial for the Feb. 19, 2024 alleged shooting of a 42-year-old woman that caused a car crash. The offense occurred on the Presidents’ Day holiday. He is charged with attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, first degree assault, and firearm use in a felony or violent crime
The trial was postponed to Feb. 12. Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Michael A. DiPietro will preside over the trial.
