Attempted murder defendant Davon Coleman waived his Hick’s date due to counsel not being available for trial on July 25 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn

Coleman, 22, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, conspiracy to second-degree murder, first-degree assault, conspiracy to first-degree assault, attempted armed carjacking, conspiracy to armed carjacking, use of a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy to use a firearm during a violent crime, having a loaded handgun on his person, conspiracy to having a loaded handgun on his person and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on Jan. 13. 

A defendant’s Hick’s date is that defendant’s right to be tried within 180 days of his or his defense attorney’s first court appearance. Coleman’s Hick’s date was set for Sept. 18.

Coleman’s trial is scheduled for Nov. 15.
