A Baltimore resident who allegedly chased his victim down the street with a gun is scheduled to go to trial in June after a reception court hearing on March 4 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

Gabriel Abraham, 43, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, using a firearm during a violent crime, two counts of possessing a firearm with a felony conviction, having a handgun on his person, illegally possessing ammunition, having a handgun in a public road, and having a handgun within 100 yards of the public in connection to an incident that happened on June 14, 2021.

On Friday, Judge Phinn listened as the prosecutor and Abraham’s defense attorney, Roland Brown, who was standing for Rosenberg, discussed a future date for trial.

During Abraham’s last court appearance on July 27, 2021, he was released on electronic home monitoring after his defense counsel at that time, Lawrence Rosenberg, relayed to the court that the victim in this case had robbed Abraham previously.

Abraham is scheduled to go to trial on June 1.
