Three Injured in Northwest District Shooting

On May 31, at around 3:22 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 3800 block of Hayward Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located 28-year-old Donovan Fletcher and female and a 25-year-old male, all suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported all three victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot on the 5300 block of Cordelia Avenue. 

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Update 7/5/24: Fletcher died from his injuries on July 2.
