A 18-year-old has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 27-year-old man on April 23.

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Michael Simms, 18, exactly 11 weeks after the incident on the 4100 block of 6th Street, where a 27-year-old man was found suffering from an apparent gunshot to the right arm.

On July 5, Southern District Action Team officers arrested Simms on the 800 block of Glade Court.

Detectives believe Simms shot the 27-year-old male victim, following a dispute.

Following his arrest, Simms was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
